Tajikistan, Azerbaijan interested in economic cooperation

The meeting focused on the current state and prospects of economic and commercial cooperation, determination of the date for the meeting of the governmental commission and others.

The Azerbaijani minister briefed the Tajik delegation on country’s social and economic development and achievements.

Tajik minister said several important documents were signed at the previous two meetings, and his country takes great interest in cooperation with aluminum production, transportation, rail and ferry transportation, and banking sector.

The meeting was also attended by representatives from Azerbaijan’s Ministries of Transport, Industry and Energy, Azerbaijan Airline (AzAL), Azerbaijan's embassy in Tajikistan and other state agencies.
