Fund of assistance to Azerbaijani Armed Forces accumulates about AZN 3.4 million and $78 thousand.

The due information has been provided by the official of the press service for the Defense Minister of Azerbaijan, Ilgar Verdiyev.

He noted that the monetary account of the Fund has accumulated $78,189.

It should be reminded that the Fund of Assistance to the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan was established by a presidential decree of August 17, 2002.

In line with the charter, the fund's assets are used for the development of the material and technical foundation of the National Army, manufacture of military products, production, repair and modernization, conduction of military scientific research and  construction and testing works, purchase of military technique, arms and shells, preparation of military specialists, raising their skills, settlement of social and housing problems of military men.
