Functions of control over construction separated between Azerbaijan's Emergency Situations Ministry and State Committee for Town-building and Architecture

According to the Cabinet of Ministers and in line with the state standards, the engineering and exploration works of the first and second level responsibility buildings and establishments, except for private residential houses and cottages of up to 12 meters in height, will be carried out by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

In line with the state standards, projection of the first and second degree responsibility buildings and establishments will be carried out by the State Committee for Town-building ad Architecture on basis of a license.
