Stock Market Participants Association established

Gunduz Mammadov, chair of the State Committee for Securities, said the rapid developing stock market of Azerbaijan makes it necessary to form such an organization.

"We support establishment of Azerbaijan Stock Market Participants Association. This union will be a key player in the Caucasus region in the future. This will accelerate capital flow and interest in securities market," he noted.

The new organization is aimed to increase awareness among investors, public and create good conditions for professional stock market participants, to impose laws and ensure that the laws are observed.

The shareholders are National Deposit Center, Baku Stock Exchange, Stock Trade Center, AzerInterTrade, Standard Capital, UniBank, ADB Broker, Technika Capital Management and Azerigazbank.
