Glass price expected to fall in Azerbaijan

The price of glass will go down in Azerbaijan after Azerbaijan-China joint venture Azershushe comes on stream.

Gudrat Kerimov, President of Khazar company, the only glass maker in Azerbaijan, said Azerbaijan imports glass most from Russia, Turkey, Iran etc. to supply its demand while customs duties, transport expenses, crack and break push the prices up.

"There will be no need for glass imports after the factory starts operation. The prices will hold notable decline. This factory will make glass in any size," he noted. APA-Economics
