Two wells to be brought online in April-May

28 May Oil and Gas Extraction Unit produced 972 million cubic meters of gas from Guneshli Field during the first quarter.

The State Oil Company told APA-Economics that the field produced 10.8 million cubic meters of gas per day against 4.2 million cubic meters in the same period last year.

Two more wells have been drilled in the field and they will be brought online in April-May. It is planned to drill 5 wells.

Under the program adopted in 2006, gas output is slated to double in Guneshli Field.
