Guarantees from Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan needed for realization of Odesa-Brody-Plock oil pipeline project

09 February 2007 [10:56] - TODAY.AZ
As Polish Ambassador to Ukraine Jacek Kluczkowski told journalists on Thursday, for realization of the Odesa-Brody-Plock oil pipeline project guarantees from Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan are lacking. Poland wants to participate in the project, but guarantees from suppliers are needed.

According to the Ambassador, presently the Polish side received no guarantees from Ukraine, but instead we've got message about the desire to use the pipeline in the reverse direction.

Jacek Kluczkowski noted "the project is rather complicated, but I'm sure, the Polish side is ready to cooperate with Ukraine. I'm optimistic in this issue and I'm sure for 90% that the project will be implemented," the Ambassador said. NRCU
