Cargo transportation rises 5.3% in Azeri part of TRACECA

Cargo transportation in Azeri part of Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia (TRACECA) reached 43.7mln tonnes in the period of January-November last year, up 5.3% from the same period previous year.

State Statistical Committee told APA that total incomes from cargo and passenger carrying amounted to AZN 201.5mln, up 3.6% from previous year.

The incomes came 62.6% from railway, 19.1% from sea and 18.3% from automobile transportation.
