AZN 297.6m additional tax paid to state budget

Last year AZN 297.6m were considered as taxable during the examination of 5,302 taxpayers by Azerbaijan Taxes Ministry and were paid to the State Budget.

Taxes Minister, Fazil Mammadov, told at government annual meeting on Monday that mobile tax examination covers 4% of the taxpayers. He said facilities violating cash payment rules were fined AZN 5m.

Tax collection in construction was 92%, in wedding places 100%, trade and catering facilities 85%.

Taxes Ministry paid AZN 2.7166 billion to the state budget (103.3% of the planned forecast) in 2006. APA
