Baku Metro office told APA that twenty pairs of trains will be on line, the intervals between trains will be extended on holidays.
The maximum 5-minute interval for Baku Soveti-Sahil and Memar Ajami-Nizami lines will be increased to 6 minutes, 2.5-minute intervals for 28 May-Hezi Aslanov will be extended to 3 minutes.
The reason for increasing intervals between trains is that fewer people use metro on holidays.
Baku Metro carries 500,000 passengers every day, 400,000 on Saturday, and 350,000 on Sunday.
