AMF's crediting rate may be cut by twice

The annual crediting rate of Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund can be reduced to 3-4% from 6%, AMF executive director Faig Mammadov said.

"Proposals will be made in the next meeting of Management Board of the National Bank. The mortgage system can also be simplified ands social mortgage system can be applied by this year's end."

He said the maximum amount and period of the mortgage are expected to be increased. The maximum period will rise to 30 years and the maximum amount to AZN 60 000, APA reports.
