Emergencies Ministry to bring fire equipment to Azerbaijan

"Fire-engines as well as fire fighting appliances and special uniforms will be brought to Azerbaijan by mid September," deputy Emergencies Minister Faig Taghizadeh told journalists.

He said the Ministry has concluded contracts with several countries to purchase fire fighting appliance and equipment.

The deputy minister also said that one B-200 fire airplane and five fire helicopters will be brought to the country to extinguish forest fires.

The fire airplane and helicopters will be brought by 16 December-day of establishment of the Emergencies Ministry, APA reports.
