BTC sanctioning ceremony due in Ceyhan July 13

Osman Geksel, the Project Director of the Turkish section of the BTC, told Trend that the Azerbaijani oil running via the BTC oil pipeline will reach a terminal in the Ceyhan port no later than May 27, 2006, while the official ceremony will be held on July 13.

Geksel said that in the next 4 days the oil will reach the last pump station located near Sivas city, while in the first half of May it will get the Sivas-Ceyhan section.

"The fulfillment of the first tanker in the Ceyhan port with the Azerbaijani oil is scheduled for 27 May," he concluded.
