In March about 110 mln kWh of electricity entered power network of Nakhchivan AR

In March of the current year, about 110 million kWh of electricity entered the power network of the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan.

APA was informed about it by the press-service of "Azerenergy" OJSC quoting the chief of the Nakhchivan Energy Office Yasin Seferov.

61.6 million kWh of aforementioned volume was received from Iran, 39.1 million kWh from Turkey, 8.6 million kWh from the "Araz" Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP). It's also noted that 590 thousand kWh (generated for test purposes last month) of abovementioned volume fall to share of the Nakhchivan gas-turbine power plant which is about to be commissioned.

At present Azerbaijan receives on average about 2 million kWh of electricity from Iran, 1 million kWh from Turkey daily. Approximately 220-250 thousand kWh of electricity enter from "Araz" HPP every day.
