SRD head to participate at the meeting of the railway operators from CIS and Baltic

The head of the State Railroad Department (SRD) of Azerbaijan, Arif Askerov will head the Azerbaijani delegation at the meeting of the 43rd international forum of the Railroad Transport Council of CIS and Baltic countries that is to be held in Tallinn (Estonia).

Performance of the decisions made at the previous meeting of the Council, perspectives of the container transportations, schedule for 2006-2007 and possibility of expanding connection of CIS and Baltic states in the railroad cooperation will be discussed at the meeting.

Questions of the carriage usage debts are usually discussed at such meetings, the SRD told Trend. However, Azerbaijan does not have such debts, the SRD concluded.
