CDMA applied in Nakhchivan AR

CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) was installed in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Opening ceremony was held in this regard with the participation of Rovshan Mammadov, the Commutations and Information Technologies Minister of the Nakhchivan AR, Vasif Talibov, the chairman of the Supreme Council of the Nakhchivan AR.

The CDMA services are accessible in the Nakhchivan AR from 1 March. The CDMA stations cover Nakhchivan and Babak. The work on application of the system on the base of the contract, undersigned between the Communications Ministry of the Nakhchivan AR and Chinese Huawei Company, the permanent representation of the Nakhchivan AR in Baku told Trend.

CDMA, presented in 1995, us one of the most spreading wireless technology in the world. In 1999 the International Telecommunications Union chose CDMA as industry standard for new wireless system of the third generation.
