President appoints Gunduz Mammadov chairman of SCC

Mammadov was acting as a chairman of SCC since late December, 2004. Earlier this post was occupied by Heydar Babayev, the current Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan.

Gunduz Mammadov was born in 1957. Since the establishment of the State Committee on Securities in September 1999 he worked as the head of the legal department, later he headed the National Depositary Center, thereafter he was appointed the first deputy of the SCC chairman.
