Minister for education Misir Mardanov received World Bank chief specialist on education for Europe and Central Asia Kent Luis on 27 July.
APA was informed from Education Ministry. K.Luis stated that, they are intending to open Common Economical Education Center for the Caucasus region. This Center is offered to be established in Tbilisi for the time being. Such education centers which have already been functioning in Kiev and Moscow gives master degree of education for 2 years, establish relations with High Schools which hold scientific researches, teach economy, hold exchange of experience.
Donor organizations are expected to allocate financial means for the establishment of the Center. Professors of prominent foreign universities will teach here.
M.Mardanov expressed the possibility of establishing the Center in Baku. He told the guest that, the stable atmosphere in the country provided opportunity for its realization.
