Azerbaijan has realized during January-February 2005 ex?ort-im?ort o?erations with 103 countries of the world against 119 countries in 2004 and 124 countries in 2003.

The agency Trend re?orts, State committee of statistics informed, main ?art of turnover was on CIS (22,7%), and Euro?ean Union - 21,2%.
Total turnover was in amount of $1111,8 mln, turnover with states of the Far abroad was $859169,2 thousand Azerbaijan had deficit for January-February in trade with these states in amount of $449755,800. Turnover with states of CIS was $252551,600 and red ink - $134435,200. The states of Far Abroad had 77,3% of total turnover, including 77,6% of ex?ort and 77,2% of im?ort.
The main trade ?artner of Azerbaijan remained Singa?ore with $329 mln or 29,59% of total external trade turnover of the state. Then the following states are located: Russia with $125,4 mln of turnover (11,279%), United Kingdom - $77,8 mln (6,998%), Italy - $70,7 mln (6,359%), Turkey - $70 mln (6,296%), China -$63,1 mln (5,675%), Turkmenistan - $54,7 mln (4,919%), Iran - $33 mln (2,968%), Ukraine - $30,9 mln. (2,779%), Croatia - $30,4 mln (2,734%), Germany - $30,2 mln (2,716%), Georgia - $22,4 mln (2,015% of external trade turnover). By results of 2004, Italy with turnover in amount of $1721,6 mln had the highest share in trade with Azerbaijan (24,185%).
