Philippines, Colombian, Chinese and Japanese boxers reach 1/16 final

The third day of the AIBA Boxing Championships in Baku featured 44 bouts. China’s Zhiavei Zkhang in 56 kg weight category won over Iran’s Armin Amjadian. Joan Typon from the Philippines won Alberto Meliana (Argentina). Columbian Julio Dayvis won Seif Qraish from Jordan. Japan’s Ryota Murata beat Leonardo Sanchez in 75 g weight category. All winners progressed for 1/16 final.
