Bout of boxers in 56 weight category starts in Baku

Three boxers in 52 kg weight category have reached 1/16 round of the 16th Boxing World Championship. Torrijos Francisco (Spain) gained victory over Lamati Ludumo (South African Republic), Yusufi Safoviddin (Tajikistan) over Nguyen Van Hai (Vietnam), and Saludar Rey (Philippines) over Lally Tanjit (Canada).

Boxers in 56 kg weight category also have started bout today. In the first fight of this weight category Michelius Dawid (Poland) defeated Weerakkodige Ruwan (Syria).
