Tofig Bahramov Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium, built in Azerbaijani capital. Its mostly being used for soccer matches, also serving as a home ground for Azerbaijani National Football team. The Stadium is the largest in the country, and was built in 1951. As far as the name goes, it was built, and named after famous football referee Tofig Bahramov. The stadium was built by German prisoners of war and constructed in the
shape of C to honour Stalin, however it was renamed back to Tofik
Bahramov in 1993 after his death. Below are the pictures taken recently of the Stadium. Let's take a closer look.
