The date Turkish ambassador to Sweden returns announced

Turkish Ambassador to Sweden, Zergun Koruturk will return to Sweden on 30th of March, and get back to her duties. Earlier, Koruturk was called back from Sweden by the Turkish government due to adoption of the so-called “Armenian genocide” resolution in the Swedish parliament.

Ambassador Koruturk pointed out, that the withdrawal of the ambassador as a manifestation of the reaction is a very serious matter, and such cases did not occur in Sweden in over 100 years.

Koruturk said, that the relations with the Swedish parliament were always developing positively, and she will do her best to prevent the effects of the experienced conflict. According to her, the Swedish parliament made it clear, that the resolution won’t have any practical use.
