Turkish Airlines signs sponsorship deal with Greek basketball club

THY stated on Thursday that it signed a sponsorship agreement with Maroussi for 1,5 years.

Accordingly, THY's logo will take place in all uniforms and sportswear of Maroussi players during matches in Greek A1 league and European League as well as in led boards, official press releases, web-site and interview boards of the club.

Maroussi is on the third row in Greek league and second row in group E in Euroleague.

Earlier, THY had also signed sponsorship agreements with English football club Manchester United and Spanish team FC Barcelona.

THY is Turkey's national airline company and is one of the fastest growing carriers in Europe. The Istanbul-based airline is using Istanbul's Ataturk Airport as a hub for flights to Europe, Asia and Africa in partnership with the Star Alliance group of airlines.
