Foreign Minister of Georgia to visit Italy

Meetings with Foreign Minister of Italy Franco Frattini, chairperson of the Italian Chamber of Deputies Gianfranco Fini and representatives of other political parties are planned within the two-day visit.

Vashadze will visit Republic of Portugal after Italy.

Bilateral meetings are planned in Lisbon with State Minister of Republic of Portugal, Foreign Minister Luís Filipe Marques Amado, State Secretary for European Affairs Pedro Lurt, Chairperson of parliament of Republic of Portugal Jaime Gama.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia will deliver speech at the political scientists’ institute of Portugal.

Political consultations at the level of directors of foreign ministries’ departments will be held in the frameworks of the visit.
