Armenian FM: Constitutional Court decision on protocols in line with president's public statements

Resolution of the Armenian Constitutional Court endorsing the Armenia-Turkey protocols is in line with the statements the Armenian President made both in Armenia and during his Pan-Armenian tour, as well as in the presidential address of October 10, 2009, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said.

“In fact, suppositions of any pressure on Armenian CC are absurd,” he noted.

Commenting on Turkish President Abdullah Gul’s statements on active though silent diplomacy conducted with Armenia, which includes discussion of frozen conflicts, Armenian Foreign Minister noted that Armenian government won’t conspire behind people’s back.
