Azerbaijani president visits memorial to National Leader Heydar Aliyev

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his family members laid a wreath at the grave in tribute to the national leader Heydar Aliyev on 6th anniversary of his demise.

The President also laid flowers at the grave of famous ophthalmologist Zarifa Aliyeva.

The visit to Heydar Aliyev’s grave was also attended by MPs, government officials and ordinary citizens following them.

Visits to pay tribute to the national leader will continue till evening.

Commemorative ceremonies are also being held in country's regions.
