EU commissioner to arrive in Azerbaijan

EU commissioner on external ties and European Neighborhood Policy Benita Ferrero Waldner will pay an official visit to Azerbaijan on January 21, said sources in the EU Baku office.
As is noted, Waldner is arriving in Baku to discuss EU-Azerbaijan cooperation.

In particular, Waldner is expected to meet with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov, Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev, gold a meeting in the Ministry of Economic Development and NGOs.

Moreover, Waldner is expected to be received by President Ilham Aliyev.
