The EU summit will be held in Prague in the framework of Eastern Partnership in April of 2009, said Karel Schwartsenberg, Foreign Minister of Czechia, chairing in EU.

The EU Program of Eastern Partnership is adopted by initiative of Poland and Sweden and adopted by 17 EU states on December 12 of 2008 at a summit in Brussels.
The aim of the program is to bring Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia, Moldova, Georgia and Azerbaijan in conformity to the EU standards without their admission to the Union.
