Yuri Merzlyakov: "There are differences between the parties only on four principles in the resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict"

"Following the Saint-Petersburg meeting both Presidents (of Armenia and Azerbaijan) asked the mediators to continue work on the basis of "Madrid proposals". Both presidents have questions and remarks on these basic principles and we deal with them on the spot, define and coordinate them", said Russian co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Yuri Merzlyakov on June 28.

He said there are differences on only 4 out of 14-15 principles. At the same time, he refused to name the principles.

"The rest almost do not cause any differences", said the Russian co-chair.
