Average monthly salary of employees rises 20%

As APA reports, employees working for mining industry, financial activities, real estate activities, leasing and consumer service activities and construction institutions are paid the highest monthly salary in this period.

The committee also stated that social allowances of AZN 4.8m were paid to the employees in January-May, 2006.

These allowances were chiefly paid to the employees working for the activities of transport, storage, communications, supply of electricity power, gas and water supply, refinery, social security and construction.

Average monthly salary of acting employees of enterprises and institutions stood at AZN 67.8 and average monthly salary of employees working on civil-juridical labor contracts was AZN 121.4.
