Number of international observers reaches 1060

Central Election Commission informs that so far 1060 international observers have been registered by the CEC.

There will be 633 observers from the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR), 1 from Council of Europe, 51 from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, 168 from the Commonwealth of Independent States, 3 from CIS Parliamentary Assembly, 15 from Estonian parliament, 37 from the US embassy in Azerbaijan, 4 from Polish embassy, 2 from the International Fund on Electoral Systems (IFES), 1 from Eurasia Foundation, 3 from Ukrainian CEC, 3 from Georgian CEC, 5 from Latvian CEC, 3 from International Crisis Group, 25 from CIFDE Bulgarian NGO, 32 from LYUMEC NGO, 25 from Diplomatic and Strategic Researches Center, 6 from Magdeburg University, 11 from Latvia and 2 from Estonia.

IPC informed that the process of registration of international observers has already been completed. However, the CEC will review all appeals entered till the last registration day and provide applicants with respective cards in order to observe the elections.
