European Powerlifting Championships ends in Baku

The European Powerlifting Championships have ended in Baku.

The four-day tournament involved nearly 300 athletes from 27 countries.

Azerbaijan claimed a haul of 10 medals, including eight golds.

The tournament was co-organized by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Youth and Sports, National Olympic Committee, World Powerlifting Congress, Baku City Youth and Sports Department and Azerbaijan Powerlifting Federation.
