Azerbaijani weightlifter breaks world record - PHOTOS

Azerbaijani weightlifter Firudin Guliyev (69 kg) secured third place at the ongoing world championship in Warsaw.

Guliyev lifted 337 kg (143+194) in total. He ordered 194 kg for the last two tries as he was just eighth in common results. The risk was not in vain: representative of the 'Zirve' sport club not only jumped to the third place, but also claimed little gold medal by breaking the world and European record in push jerk among youth.  

Liao Hui from China became the winner with 385  kg.
