Belarus Culture Days launched in Azerbaijan

The Belarus Culture Days have today opened in Azerbaijan with a solemn ceremony at the State Philharmonic Hall.

Speaking at the event, First Deputy Culture Minister Adalat Valiyev said “such events play a profound role in boosting the mutual cultural exchange and presenting the best cultural achievements of countries”.

Belarus Deputy Culture Minister Vasili Chernik noted that participants of the Culture Days “are very excited to perform in front of the audience in Azerbaijan, which has an ancient and rich culture”.

He noted the relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus had deep historical and cultural roots, and were being developed by the presidents of the two countries.

“The Belarus Culture Days will be transformed into a real art event and the Azerbaijani audience will have an opportunity to familiarize themselves with Belarus`s culture and art.”

He thanked the Azerbaijan Culture and Tourism Ministry and Belarus Embassy in Azerbaijan for their support in organizing the Culture Days.
