'Turkish week' held in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan hosts “Turkish week” organized by the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SAM). According to SAM, the delegation of representatives of Azerbaijani and Turkish think tanks, MPs, teachers of universities and media representatives will visit Ganja, Lankaran and Aghdam cities within the events.

Farhad Mammadov, the director of the SAM, said that the delegation will meet with the leadership and students of Ganja and Lankaran State Universities.

Discussions on themes as “From the history up to now: Turkey-Azerbaijan relations” and “Azerbaijan -Turkey relations in regional context” will be held during the meetings. The goal of the discussions is to support the development of Azerbaijan-Turkey relations.

SAM on Sept. 26 will host a press conference on the results of “Turkish Week”. The Center for Strategic Studies under the President of Azerbaijan held “Azerbaijani Week” in 5 cities of Turkey in October, 2011.
