US Library of Congress to hold lecture on "Azerbaijan and the United States: Pioneer Nations in Women’s Suffrage"

US Library of Congress (LOC) will hold a lecture on "Azerbaijan and the United States: Pioneer Nations in Women’s Suffrage" on Wednesday, June 8.

Speaker of the conference will be Jennifer Krafchik, Director of Collections at the Sewall-Belmont House & Museum.

The conference will address the respective accomplishments of suffrage in Azerbaijan (1918) and the United States (1920). Multiple media outlets, students and NGOs are scheduled to attend the lecture.
