Azerbaijan goes down in FIFA ranking

The Azerbaijani football national team went down in the FIFA ranking four spots, the Azerbaijani Football Federations Association (AFFA) said on Wednesday.

Now, the Azerbaijani national team has 282 points and holds 112th place compared to last month.

Azerbaijan's team lost both games held in the qualifying round of the European Championship in June. The country’s team yield to the Kazakh national team with a score of 1:2 in Astana and the team lost to Germany with a score of 1:3 in Baku.

The next rating will be announced on July 27.
