Azerbaijan paralympians to compete for International Continental Cup in UK

Azerbaijan sitting volleyball national team under the Azerbaijan National Paralympics Committee will be involved in Continental Cup in Sitting Volleyball for Men due in Kettering, UK, on July 11-16, 2011.

The ECVD Continental Cup will give volleyball enthusiasts and sport fans the opportunity to witness the speed and skill of Sitting Volleyball.

There`ll be five days of action, starting on Monday 11th July and ending with the final on Saturday 16 July. Matches will be held during the day and in the evenings so there`s something for everyone.

The Men`s Continental Cup is one of four international events organized by the European Committee Volleyball for Disabled (ECVD) in 2011, and the only one to be held in England.
As well as providing a training ground for international-level athletes as one of the last major international Sitting Volleyball tournaments ahead of the London Paralympic Games 2012, the ECVD Men`s Continental Cup will also be an opportunity for Volleyball National Technical Officials and volunteers to demonstrate their skills and abilities.
