Azerbaijani mixed martial arts fighter grabs gold in Russia

Russian city Medin hosted a European championship in universal fight amid juniors. Press service head of the Azerbaijani Universal Fight Federation Aysel Sultanova said that Azerbaijani squad won four medals.

Thus, Bakhtiyar Hasanli, 50 kg, reached the final where he defeated the Russian rival and snagged the gold. Meanwhile, bronze medals were grabbed by female fighter which include Aytan Babayeva, Laman Imanova (both 42kg) and Nazakat Javadova (47 kg).
