Azerbaijani weightlifter ranks 9th in World Championship

The first competition within the World Championship in weightlifting among juniors wrapped up.

In 50kg category, Azerbaijani athlete Allahyar Abishov in double-event gained 174kg and ranked 9th amid 16 weightlifters.

The gold was honored to Chinese Khao Jiang, lifting 221 kg.
