Azeri grandmaster defeated by Armenian rival

The international chess tournament resumed after one-day break in Monte Carlo.

In the fifth round of the tournament Azerbaijani chess player Vugar Hashimov twice lost the game versus Armenian rival Levon Aronyan. Hashimav performed the blinds with the white and the shift chess with the black.

Hence, after two victories Hashimov faced three losses. In the sixth round he will face Bulgarian Veselin Topalov.
