Head coach of Azerbaijani national team may coach Turkish Besiktas club

The head coach of the Azerbaijani national football team may coach the Turkish Besiktas club, the Turkish newspaper Milliyet reported.

Berti Fogts’s candidacy will be considered after former Besiktas coach Bernd Schuster resigns, the newspaper reported.

Fogts has led the Azerbaijani national team since March 2008. Schuster told the club that he would resign on March 14. He said he does not want to stay with a team that performs poorly.
