AFFA approves head coaches for national football teams

The relevant decisions were made at a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Azerbaijani Football Federations Association (AFFA) today to appoint national coaches.

The following head coaches were appointed: Nikolay Adam for the U-15 and U-16 leagues, Tabriz Hasanov for U-17, and Vali Gasimov for U-19.

Football veterans Jahangir Huseynov, Bashir Aliyev, Rafiq Mammadov and Rafiq Bagirov will receive AFFA pensions.

According to the decisions, Baku will organize workshops together with Liverpool University in accordance with negotiations between AFFA and the educational instition.

The AFFA General Secretariat was also charged with examining the possibility of establishing a U-11 league.
