Azerbaijani gymnast demonstrates good results at the Italian championship

Azerbaijan’s strongest gymnasts Aliya Garayeva and Anna Gurbanova have attended the championship, Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation said.

Garayeva performs for "Piedmont Rhythmics” team that competes in a series of A2. In Pesaro, Aliya performed with a rope and scored 26.275 points, which was the best result among all the gymnasts who performed in the series.

Thus, her team once again took 3rd place and has good chances before the final round (Dec. 4, Turin) to get a start in the series A1, in which Gurbanova competes.

Like a year ago, Anna performs for “Komense 1872” club. In a  decisive round she performed simultaneously with rope and ball scoring 25.5 points and 25.6 points respectively. Her club scored a total 143.5 points and finished 6th.
