Azerbaijani kickboxers snatch 11 medals at Euro-2010 in Baku

Elcin Bayramov (51 kg), Elshad Alasgarov (51 kg) and Elnur Durgagir mounted the highest step on the podium. Silver medals came from Sarkhan Madatov (57 kg), Eduard Mammadov (60 kg), Agalar Sadigzade (86 kg) and Zamig Atakishiyev (91 kg) while bronze medals were secured by Turan Gafarov (54 kg), Emin Karimov (63.5 kg), Syran Gurbanov (69 kg), Albert Garimov (84 kg).

Azerbaijani low-kick kickboxer Parviz Abdullayev beat Russian rival Vladimir Shulyak to claim the title. The championship brought together 440 athletes from 32 countries competing in low-kick, K-1, and light-contact events.
