Azerbaijan intends to host UEFA Cup

Last week, Azerbaijan's mini football champion "Araz" made it into the elite round of the UEFA Cup. Azerbaijan Federation of Football Associations has filed an application to hold matches of this stage, which involves country’s team, in Baku. UEFA will select four cities that will host the group stages after the draw which will take place on October 12.
 
Last season Azerbaijani capital hosted similar tournament, and "Araz" managed to take a single ticket to the Final Four, beating Kazakhstan’s Kairat.
