Azerbaijani fighters win 4 medals in World Combat Games

Azerbaijani fighters have brought home 4 medals, including three golds from the 1st Sportaccord Combat Games in Beijing, China. Gold medals came from kickboxer Parviz Abdullayev, karate fighter Niyazi Aliyev and female wrestler Olesya Zamula.

Kickboxer Kanan Sadigov garnered bronze medal. The tournament brought together more than 2000 fighters from 200 countries. Azerbaijan ranked 13th in the overall medal table. Russia topped the table, followed by China and Ukraine.
