Azerbaijani wrestlers bring home 20 medals from Turkey tournament

Azerbaijani wrestlers have claimed a clutch of 20 medals, including seven golds at the international cadets Victory Cup held in Gebze, Turkey.


Azerbaijan’s gold medals came from freestyle wrestlers Alihasan Amirli (48kg), Abulfaz Nasirov (55kg), Turan Bayramov (65kg), female athletes Birgul Sultanova (57kg), Jala Aliyeva (61kg), Nigar Mirzazade (65kg) and Greco-Roman wrestler Hazrat Jafarov (51kg).
