Lithuanian gymnast wins gold medal of FIG World Cup in Baku

Tomas Kuzmickas (Lithuania) won the gold medal of FIG World Cup in Artistic Gymnastics in floor exercises.

His score was 14.166.

Pavel Bulavski, representative of Belarus, ranked the second with a score of 14.000. He is followed by Japanese gymnast Naoto Hayasaka, who’s score was 13.900.

Azerbaijani gymnast Murad Agarzayev took the fifth place with a score of 13.300.

The first day of the FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup finals has kicked off at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku.

Azerbaijan is represented by Murad Agharzayev in men’s floor exercises and parallel bars.

Yulia Inshina, Ekaterina Tishkova represent Azerbaijan in women’s uneven bars, and Marina Nekrasova - in vault.

A total of ten sets of medals will be awarded at the competitions.

The FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup finals will end Mar. 19. Gymnasts from 23 countries take part in the FIG World Cup in artistic gymnastics, which is hosted by Azerbaijan for the second time.
